School-Age Care (SAC) programs are offered for children ages 5-12. Programs are designed to meet community needs, reinforce family values, and promote the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of children. SAC programs are accredited by the Council of Accreditation (COA).
School age children are separated by age into two categories: primary (ages 5-8) and pre-teen (ages 9-12). Daily activities feature age appropriate activities including art, science, drama, outdoor play, homework time, and more.
School-Age Care offers several different options:
Also, during spring, summer and winter breaks, full time care is available and includes a variety of activities and fields trip.
Students are walked to and from Beverly Gardens Elementary (Mad River Local Schools), and transportation is provided to all Fairborn City Schools.
Our location is also a bus stop for St. Helen, Spinning Hills, and Virginia Stevenson (Mad River Local Schools).
The School-Age Care program welcomes students with special needs and/or allergies. Prior to enrollment, forms must be completed by the child’s physician. Stop by the School-Age Care center to pick up all necessary forms.
To enroll, please visit MilitaryChildCare.com to register. Once you are offered a slot, you will be sent an email to accept. You will then come to the program to complete all necessary paperwork. Your child must be current in all immunizations including the flu shot.
Fees are based upon income. Parents must provide proof of income to determine fees.
The SAC is affiliated with the Boys and Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) and local 4-H chapters. A variety of clubs are offered throughout the year using BGCA and 4-H as a basis for programming.
