The Professional Development Center provides Team Wright-Patt with comprehensive professional enhancement and development opportunities. Through information and training provided by Career Assistance Advisors (CAA), Air Force members are guided in making the best possible career choices.
The Career Assistance Advisor acts as the principal advisor to CCs and supervisors on retention issues. The program is designed to welcome and educate new FTA to the local base and assist supervisors when talking to subordinates about the benefits of Air and Space Force careers. Enlisted and Officer enhancement courses are conducted for CGOs, SNCOs, NCOs, and Airmen/Guardians and Informed Decision briefings for the first- and second-term Airmen/Guardians. The CAA also assists CCs and supervisors in career counseling and conducts advertising and publicity programs.
